We are a caring American Baptist church located at 52 North Main Street in Mansfield, MA

We would like to extend a warm welcome to everyone. Come join us each Sunday for worship in a welcoming Christian atmosphere.

Regular worship hour 10:45 AM begins Sunday, September 11

We are involved in many outreach activities to help those in need in the community.




  • Food and Friends Community Kitchen -- Serves a meal at 4:30 PM Every Tuesday to those in need of a hot meal and some companionship.
  • HIS House Ministry -- Providing clothes and other essential needs to the needy in our community
  • Sunday Worship and Coffee Hour -- The pastor, Rev., Dr. Rollin Karnehm, offers a message and a traditional service each Sunday at 10:45 AM   (9:30 AM summer), followed by a coffee hour where parishioners can get to know one another better.  
  • Free Movie Night  - Friday, October 21 - 7PM for popped corn and 7:30 PM for the movie. Title to be announced.                                                                                      

The church celebrated its 175th anniversary in 2013 with many festivities. Founded in June 1838, we have a rich history of Christian worship, fellowship, and outreach. Read our history for more details and interesting stories.

A church that has been here in Mansfield since 1838, we are an integral part of Mansfield's Fabric. Sustained through a church fire and other key events in town History, ours is a varied and colorful past. Today we enter the 21st centrury with a state of the art web site. Some old, some new!
